Addington Senior Community
Addington is another great golf community in Viera. This community had multiple high end builders in the community who really put some great thought into these floor plans. The homes are located on the back Nine of the Golf course. Addington is one of the more established communities in Viera. There is easy access to the community club house and the golf course. You can enjoy the views of the golf course and the water. The sunsets are gorgeous.
One of the things I love about Addington is the variety. It has many similar amenities as the other properties in the Viera East Golf Course Community, and has a particular charm as all the neighborhoods do. The water views are meticulously landscaped, and lovely to admire.
The Avenue Viera, an open-air shopping center, opened in 2004. It is only a few short miles from Addington. It contains over 100 shops/restaurants and a multiplex movie theater. There are several nationally known restaurant chains and department stores.
The best part about these communities, it fits another need with active seniors. These communities give flexibility of models, house colors, landscaping and beautiful views. They are all within walking distance of trails, shopping and amenities.
Viera is such a great community! Ok, I’m a little partial because I live in one of the prestigious 55+ communities in Viera, Heritage Isle. Viera area borders 8 miles along I-95 and 3 miles south just beyond exit 191. We have all the shopping that we could possibly need, with a wonderful selection of restaurants, walking trails and entertainment.
Retirement communities are great, now considered 55+ communities; they are full of amenities for the active lifestyle. Typically they are gated with security; the community is responsible for the grounds, clubhouse and landscaping. The community also typically is responsible for the outside maintenance of your home.
